The University of Calgary created space for two new Tier II Canada Research Chairs: Dr. Myrle Ballard (Weaving Indigenous Science and Sustainability Science) in the Faculty of Science and Dr. Daniel Voth (Inter-Indigenous Politics) in the Faculty of Arts. This brings the total number of Indigenous-focused research chairs to eight.
