In 2024–25, the Indigenous Research Support Team (IRST) provided 224 one-on-one consultations, completed more than 85 formal reviews, and hosted 23 events with over 770 participants. This work helped strengthen the rigour, reciprocity, and cultural grounding of Indigenous research at the University of Calgary.
Ways of Knowing 3 – Develop and implement additional professional learning opportunities, training and mentorship in Indigenous ways of knowing, including methodologies and pedagogies, ceremony and cultural protocols.
