In June 2025, the University of Calgary celebrated the launch of The Story of ii’ taa’poh’to’p: University of Calgary’s Journey Towards an Indigenous Strategy, published by University of Calgary Press. Authored by the Grandparents of ii’ taa’poh’to’p, Shawna Cunningham, Jacqueline Ottmann, Jackie Sieppert, Dru Marshall, and Reg Crowshoe, the book reflects relationship building, deep listening, and cultural learning that shaped the Indigenous Strategy.
Ways of Knowing 9 – Resource opportunities to routinely include Indigenous Traditional Knowledge Keepers in the university’s learning processes. Ensure that appropriate cultural protocols are understood and practiced during these teaching processes.
